Il Villino Apartments

Close to the airport, great location, private parking was available. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment was modern, had a lovely outdoor eating space. Great pizza restaurant and bakery down the road, lovely owners. Gerry was very responsive, helpful and accommodating! He met us upon arrival and explained everything to us and provided everything we needed! Thank you

The larger apartment was in the basement (although renovated (modern) and spacious) and there was only one key for each room, which was challenging with 2 families.

We forgot our Kindle at the place where we stayed, and the host was so kind to find it and send it back to our country! He also gave us a tip for a taxi to get to the airport.

The only small issue I would point out was the sofa bed, which creaked with every movement.

The host allowed us to drop off our luggage earlier than check-in time, this was helpful. The garden was attractive and well-maintained. The home looked comfortable and clean. The AC worked well. The home was secure and gated. Location was also great.

I am very upset with this host and property. After reading the reviews we thought it seemed fine although a bit confusing about the amount of people and pricing. I definitely should have read it more carefully. We were a family of five. We were not spending much time there, one evening, all we needed were 5 beds. I don't know how I missed the part that the 3 children had to be under the age of three. Obviously this is a very tight market. Ours were not. He was insistent that we needed to pay an extra 90 euros in cash to him on top of the price as our children were older than 3. At this point it was too late to cancel. The house was attractive and seemed clean. I had absolutely no idea we were going to be in a basement, this was deceiving and should have been noted in my booking. Had I seen the place earlier, I definitely would have walked out. Much to our dismay, it was an underground suite, dark, moldy and smelly. We could barely breathe properly. It was sombre and dingy. The host was nowhere to be found, as I felt this was only about the money and nothing else. There were no pamphlets or recommendations for restaurants, cafes or anything. There was no attention to detail. Sponged outdated painting, a shortage of shower towels, no bath mats. The bathroom faucet was chipped, the shower floors dirty. Completely disappointing. The only decent thing that worked was the AC. But, we would have been better off sleeping outside in the garden which was very quaint. We had spent one month in Italy, in amazing B and Bs and homes. This one, our only terrible experienced ended up costing the most. We tried to spend as little time possible in the underground rental because we could not bear the sewage-like odour that permeated from the ground. Unfortunately now when I think of our last night in Italy, this memory is engrained in mind. I am only angry at myself for spending all this money on the completely wrong place and giving it to the wrong person!

We had a great stay. The owners made us fell like at home. The apartment has all needed. Location is great. There are cafes and restaurants around. The railway station to the center is in 5 min walk. It talk around 20 min to get to the Pan e Pomodoro beach. Turtle in the yard and fishes in the fountain left my daughter speechless :)

Very nice and clean, very helpful host

We were late and made the reservation on the same day. Gerry came to us at 11 PM, shown us everything and answered our questions. The apartment is very spacious and has 2 bathrooms, allowing privacy for each guest. The price of the taxi to the airport is fixed and costs 20 euro.

WOW! This modern apartment was amazing. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and outdoor terrace. On lower floor but did not feel like it. Air condtioning in each room, power blinds, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and great host! Located within walking distance of water and restaurants. Wish we would have had more time there!
