There was nothing not to like - perfect facilities, location and host.

The stand out from this stay was Sue, our host. We arrived quite late and did not realise there would be nowhere still open. She looked after us wonderfully. She is also very knowledgeable about the whole area and gave us very good suggestions. If you are walkers then this area is stunning. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the rear garden. This room has been completely modernised with traditional touches. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is one of the best we've used. Breakfast is cooked to order. My husband had venison sausage, poached egg, bacon, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, beans and toast. No lunch needed after that. We travelled to Skye using the world's only turntable ferry (£20) which was an experience and returned via the Skye Bridge. If you are eating out I suggest booking in advance and recommend Plockton. The bay there is picture postcard.

Didn't particularly bother us, but there was no TV available, although a lounge we could use.

Room and bathroom were very clean, Sue was extremely welcoming and offered us a drink on arrival. We had to leave at 6:30am for a ferry and she still made us breakfast in the morning which was extremely kind of her. Lovely house and we were very exited there was a four legged friend there as well!

Sue was lovely and welcoming and advised of places to eat etc. Property was old and quaint and showed the owner's eclectic tastes.

Was a very old property but the guest room was refurbished. The thing I wasn't keen on was the tiled floor in the bedroom which was cold to the feet. There were no drinking glasses in the room/bathroom and didn't discover the WiFi code until leaving. The bed,for us, was too small. Things like an area rug at the bedside, glasses in the room and WiFi connection clearly displayed would have made an enormous difference.

Excellent host and a great breakfast

We received a warm welcome from Sue, who made us tea on arrival. It was a pity we had arrived late as we could have quite happily talked to her for longer. The room was spotlessly clean, great shower & very comfortable bed. Sue happily made us an early breakfast, which was very tasty. We would definitely recommend Sanachan to our friends.
