Apartment Centener

Beautiful apartment and very nice owner. A 30-minute walk to Rovinj, a 10-minute walk to a beautiful beach. We didn't miss anything.

Apartment Centener is a nice apartment close to the sea. The apartment consists of two quite large rooms: a bedroom with an enclosed veranda and a kitchen with a dining room. In the bedroom there’s a big bed, a wardrobe and a desk. The bedroom is airconditioned. The kitchen is equipped with basic equipment such as a fridge, a cooker, an electric kettle. All necessary pots, dishes, glasses, cutlery etc. are provided. There’s also a dining table and some drawers. One can also eat or rest by the table on the veranda with a distant view on the sea though the window. The bathroom is with a quite big electric heater (just be cautious not to switch it off as it's switch is next to the switch of bedroom light!). The location of the apartment was good for us as it’s located in a quiet, residential area. Just few minutes walking away is the seacoast. There’s a park along the coast and several small rocky or pebble beaches, including one nudist. It’s a nice area for walking (in a shade, so important on hot days), biking, or sunbathing. It takes half an hour of walking from the apartment to the lovely old town of Rovinj. We came by car and it was no problem to park it since there are quite a few parking lots on the street in front of the apartment. The owners were waiting for us to give keys and provide necessary information. Before we reached them to discuss and provide information about our arrival. To conclude: Apartment Centener is a nice apartment, we spent there a pleasant week and next time in Rovinj we’ll try to book it again.

There’s nothing we can complain about. There’s are only few items for consideration. Firstly, in the kitchen there’s no oven or microwave oven, which may a useful information for those who like to warm up food. Secondly, it’s on the 1st floor so no accessible to people with disabilities. One little challenge was also that the apartment booking is managed by the agency, but they’re not able to answer all questions and instead suggest to talk to owners. I would expect such agencies should manage the whole communication.

The apartment was modern, apparently recently renovated and clean. The bedlinen (blanket, pillow) was clean and smelled good which we really appreciated. The apartment is close to a good beach and there are lots of parking place in the street. The host lady was very friendly.

The bed was very noisy. :( There was no sun shielding (shutter or something like that) in the loggia, in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Dryer rack capacity was quite limited and its location was not suitable to hang out dripping swimsuits. (We were in the apartment for 2 persons.)

The apartment was clean and nice. Very close to the sea, you can also walk to the city center if needed. Great park right next to the house. Amazing location. Enough places for parking on the street nearby (for free). Owners live in the same house and are always available if anything was needed. They are very friendly and ready to help. The flat was renovated and very clean.

It was quite cold in the night as the heating is turning off in the night. Bedroom is heated with the A/C only, which was quite noisy.

Excellent location with lovely hosts. Highly recommend.
