Ease of access to Alnwick city and castle

The pots and pans in the shared kitchen could have been cleaner. Plates and Cutlery were fine.

Really clean and easy to use facilities and close by to everywhere we needed to visit. Great value for money. Loved the entertainment rooms and harry potter themed bits as we were here to visit the castle and appreciated the theme!

Beds were very squeaky with the slightest movement, which wasn't great with 2 fidgety kids! Husband sorted it with a bit of cardboard down a gap in the bed, so no major issue. Also, the room was facing the main street and the bells from the church opposite were very loud and went on untill 11pm! Obviously, this is no fault of the hostels, but it may be worth checking when booking, especially if you have young children that you need to get to bed!

The staff were really helpful and friendly. It was very comfortable and welcoming with great self catering facilities. Amazing shower. Lovely lounge and games room, a real home away from home.

I actually can't think of anything I didn't like 😊
