YHA Alnwick - Partner

Das Hostel liegt sehr gut, um Alnwick und das Castle zu erkunden. Die Selfe Service Küche ist sauber mit einem schönen, hellen Essraum. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Das Hostel hat einen laut knarrenden Fußboden, wenn man über ihn läuft und die Zimmertür konnte man nur mit sehr viel Schwung schließen, was sicher für andere Gäste sehr laut war.

Plenty of parking round the back, easy check in, friendly staff, good ensuite, comfy beds in family room. Easy access to the communal kitchen & dining room close to our room. Good to be downstairs.

We were ground floor at the front of the building and could hear people outside but that's the nature of the building, presumably not double glazed windows. But it didn't disturb us too long. Being bunk beds, and each using lower one, I was fine overnight, but next morning when stripping bed linen off, I kept banging my head on the side of the top bunk!! Even though I had been ducking so as not to hit my head most of the time.

Clean, comfortable accommodation. Well equipped kitchen.

Reception hours seem quite limited compared to other hostels we have stayed in (no one there after 7:30pm). We were able to access our room ok (key left in key safe) but couldn’t get any towels for showers etc.
