Ich hatte mich im Datum vertan und einen Monat zu früh gebucht und war demzufolge noch nicht in diesem Hotel ...

It would be good to have facility for drying clothes, so many rainy days!

Stunning location, very clean and comfortable room, and nice people at the reception and in the restaurant. We would definitely book this room again if we would come back :)

I cannot praise this place highly enough. I hadn’t read an email properly and I misunderstood check-in. Reception immediately upgraded us and when we discovered that it had been my fault all along, would not accept any money. Anyway, thanks Gudvangen. Our room was lovely with a small kitchen, a veranda and knockout views. There were ample free hot drinks available, the shower was great and the bed comfortable. The hotel restaurant was about 50m away and it served good quality food. We did not have a breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. The area is absolutely stunning and in the evening when everyone has left it is a delight to walk around.

There was nothing to dislike about the hotel.

This is a very comfortable, basic hotel. It’s walking distance from the ferry dock and near the restaurants. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom clean and nice (warm tile floors!). We paid for the attached bath. The room is small but adequate. The view out the back is phenomenal.

We walked to the hotel from the ferry dock only to find a sign on the door saying we needed to check in at the hotel back at the ferry dock. So, we had to pull our suitcases back and forth a few times. It would have been nice if they’d sent a message! There is no one on duty at the hotel, which is fine, but they could communicate!
