The State Hotel

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a surprise staycation in Seattle, and from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Sometimes you don't have to travel far to create beautiful memories, and this stay was the perfect reminder of that. The hotel was exceptional—the location was ideal, the restaurant was fantastic, and every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. A special thank you to Dove and Gerardo, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They had our room ready with thoughtful treats upon arrival and were always available with a smile, making us feel cared for throughout our visit. The rooftop offered breathtaking views of the city and added a touch of magic to our celebration. Although the space was a bit small and busy at times, the beauty of the view and the overall experience more than made up for it. As Seattle locals from the Eastside, we often forget what a special city we have in our backyard. This stay allowed us to slow down, reconnect, and celebrate our marriage in a beautiful setting without ever leaving home. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to visitors and locals alike. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a peaceful escape, this is a place where memories are made. Thank you for helping make our anniversary so special. Fantastic location, just around the corner from the Pike Place Market. Loved the design of the hotel, especially the beautiful and at the same time very traveler-practical room. Super comfortable bed, very quiet, even when facing the street, wonderful bathroom & shower. Lovely rooftop bar from 4 - 8pm, and the gorgeous wallpaper deserves a special shout-out as well.

The glass doors that need to be manually opened / held open are very difficult to navigate with a cart full of bags. It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room. The menu options at the Ben Paris restaurant are very limited and niche, would be nice to have some more mainstream / classic options.

I decided to take a solo trip to Seattle for my birthday and Bridgett made my first time in Seattle very special. My room was so clean and cozy. This hotel is steps away from pike place and many restaurants. I didn’t have any complaints about noise at all. I didn’t get a chance to check out the bar on the rooftop but I definitely would come back to this location.

Great location to Pike Place, room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and informative.

Entrance door was locked and we had to call the front desk to let us in.

Front desk and room service staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms and common areas were clean and we'll maintained. A small fridge in the room would have been very helpful and appreciated.
