Pyramid City Apartments

Our first impressions of the apartment were excellent. The apartment was a lot more spacious than we anticipated. It’s close to the beach and is in a quiet-ish location. I would recommend that you hire a car there isn’t a lot to see/do in the area. The staff at reception were really friendly at check in too. The balcony was lovely to sit at for breakfast with the morning sun.

Not the apartments fault, but it is in close proximity to an all-inclusive resort that plays loud music throughout the day. We didn’t understand the ‘serviced apartment’ element to the description. Our apartment didn’t get cleaned, only the bed got made but the sheets weren’t changed. They don’t provide toilet paper either, on our last evening when it was late, we ran out. We asked at the bar if they had any we could have to save us going to look for some but they didn’t and told us to go to the store. The kitchen was very limited on utensils and cookware etc, this wasn’t a massive problem for us as we ate out mostly but when it came to having food in the apartment it became difficult.

The outside facilities, such as the pool area, the bar and restaurant, the children’s area and mini golf area, these were all excellent and well kept. I enjoyed the location being close to the sea and by a sandy beach. I have to mention, Martina, who is the receptionist, although this title doesn’t warrant how amazing she is. She truly went above and beyond and could do enough for us, always with a smile on her face! She truly made the difference between an ‘ok stay’ and a ‘wonderful stay’. She is truly a gem.

A car is essential however as there is very little in the way of amenities in the immediate area and we struggled to book taxis to take us short distances E.g. to other local beaches or towns. When we did they were very expensive.

Not much at all

Secluded enough that we pretty much had the pool to ourselves. Very friendly staff. Great little apartment in a beautiful location. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

There were a couple of maintenance issues but the staff was extremely reactive and it didn't hinder our holiday in any way.

Dark kitchen with practically no lighting and very low ceiling dark and stuffy upper bedroom. Unless you are not below 150cm, you will be crawling there.

Where we stayed was wonderful. The accommodation very spacious, great pool The location beside beach 5 min walk super. One of the best clean safest beach ever been at. Martina in reception was wonderful. Any query she answered and organised ( transfers, day trips etc.). She made the holiday so easy.

Location limited if you don't have a car especially if travelling with children/teenagers. Area too quiet for them. Adult bed very comfortable, children's bed far too hard.
