Room was great, surrounding area was not.

All staff members we met were extremely friendly and helpful, valet parking was quick and easy, and the room was clean and in great shape!

As an elite Marriott member, I really appreciate this hotel. They consistently recognise status and take care to upgrade room when they can. They are really good with bottled water, and have beautiful new rooms and a very nice club lounge and of course attentive and friendly staff. I've stayed here many times and consistently have had excellent service, even when the hotel is full, they are able to manage it. Overall well run and built from the ground up for great service.

We stay at the JW Marriott as we were attending a concert at Rogers Place - very convenient, they are connected. The valet was great, front desk staff were super friendly, the room was beautiful. The complimentary flavored ice cubes (from the ice menu) brought to our room were such a nice touch. The pool was lovely. The Executive Lounge was great, super friendly staff, good selection of snacks & breakfast was great. Alchemy Bar has an amazing patio & handcrafted cocktails - definitely worth a visit. The only complaint we had was all the lights turning on in the middle of the night & not being able to shut them off. We called the front desk several times - no answer. We learnt at check out that it was out of the hotels control & we understood completely, but it would have been nice to know what was going on & if the front desk wasn't 24 hours, that should have been mentioned at check in. For the inconvenience, they took $50 off our bill. Besides the night interruption, we loved our stay & will return.

We were early for our check in but they had a room for us! The air freshener in the room was far too strong
