Our 1st stay here! great Hilton guest rate. check-in was quick with 2 free bottles of water z& 2 packs of lorna doons. updated large room with comfy bed! breakfast was great! waffles with fruit & cream, eggs, bacon, potatoes, muffins, yogart etc! we didn’t get a chance to use salt water pool , shower had refilled toiletries &. body cream. a great stay.

Front desk staff is helpful and engaging. Thermostat in room to set the temperature as desired.

Breakfast did not live up to it's "exceptional" hype. It is just average/okay. It is a primary factor for me when choosing a location, and a reason to pay more or select a slightly different location (both true in this case). Morning1 was prefab cheese/egg "omelette" with velveeta type cheese. Thumbs down. Edible, not enjoyable. Pork sausage paddies were okay but cooked pretty dry. Only 1type of premixed (yuck) yoplait strawberry yogurt with artificial flavoring. No English muffins, only a variety of breads and bagels (don't get your hopes up). Butter comes in annoyingly tiny 1/2 tsp packages (2 per slice for me) that are cold and rock hard (impossible to spread). Morning 2 was scrambled eggs and bacon, both of which were okay, but not super. OJ had a Tang-y taste to it (is it a discount refill system? it doesn't taste like real OJ). The coffee service had only k-cup size 1/2&1/2's (4 k-cup creamers required for the small 8oz cup for me) or "Coffeemate" dispenser (again no thanks). A carafe of skim, 1/2&1/2, 2%, etc would be nice. If you're resourceful, you can walk 50ft across the (small) dining area, to the cold cereal fridge and get some 2%milk from a gallon. It would be nice if that wasn't necessary. The seating area is too small and both days all the table got taken. The second day they announced a separate seating area, but we had obtained a table. The tables/chairs are awkward heights. There's a high communal counter with chairs that leave the table at your armpits, then there are the low tables, that are quasi-cocktail tables, so you feel like you're eating off your lap (it won't ruin your day, but it's there). There was a tip jar that I've never come across in a breakfast buffet before. The kitchen person was active in keeping the buffet stocked (good) and obviously so (a little annoying). Bed was very firm/hard.

We stayed for 2 days and what a wonderful experience. The room was ready early and very clean. The pool was a nice size. We went to do the laundry and the dryer was broken so they dried it for us with their dryer. The staff was very helpful.We had a nice breakfast and a fantastic time.
