Tout était chouette

My partner and I had a wonderful time in this Riad and I highly recommend it to any couple or solo traveller looking to explore central Marrakech for a few days. Its location meant that we were only a short walk away from the pick ups for our booked activities and also all the restaurants, markets and facilities we needed were close by. The staff were so friendly and hospitable. We had Mohammed pick us up and drop us off at the airport, and he also messaged on whatsapp to let us know where he would be and what he would be wearing. At Marrakech one of the team picked us up from the taxi and walked us all the way to the Riad so there was not any issue navigating and finding the Riad at night on the first day of arrival. I cannot remember the other names of the people who worked during our time at the Riad but all of them were incredibly friendly and hospitable, making us feel at home and looked after.

Minor issue was that contact ahead of time via booking.com was a bit of an issue, as we did not know what we would be eating on the night of our first arrival (it was hard to get replies for details on the food). As one of us has a nut allergy and the other doesn't eat fish or any meats apart from chicken it was a bit worrying as we had no idea what we would end up having on the first night. Fortunately it was fine, and the food was delicious and memorable. In case people are interested, we had bread with two starter dishes: tomato and pepper and aubergine - the aubergine was delicious and one of the best things we tasted the whole trip! This was followed by chicken tagine and couscous, followed by a fruit cake dessert.

Heel vriendelijk personeel! Heerlijk ontbijt die iedere dag een beetje varieerde. Prachtige kamers en alles was schoon. Fijn dakterras waar we tot laat heen konden gaan. Ook was het heerlijk rustig in de riad en was je binnen een minuut in de medina. De straat van de medina naar de riad toe was veilig. Om binnen te komen moest je aanbellen, het personeel was 24/7 aanwezig. Het voelde heel veilig!

Kamer was gegrensd aan de ontbijtzaal, waardoor we dachten dat we niet veel privacy hadden. Dit was dus even wennen, maar was uiteindelijk geen probleem. Verder was het badkamerraam niet afgedekt.
