Quality of the room and treatment of host. On arrival in the room, my wife (43kg) in sitting on the bed, the mattress sank, when I tried, the whole bedside crashed to the floor. In alerting the host, it showed the flimsy bed was in dire condition, a replacement bed was to be replaced. Extremely tired having driven there 650km, me, aged 82 (with a Cane) and wife went for a walk in the heat to allow a change, on returning, 2 guys were assembling a bed “out of a box”, it was almost 6 hours before being able to have our room. NO APOLOGY BY THE HOST when confronting her, CAN HAPPEN ANYTIME was the answer. Apart from this, prior to my stay, I called a few times to ensure CAR PARKING as I was going to stay 8 DAYS and did not plan to use the car apart for one day to drive on the AMALFI COAST, I was promised NO PROBLEM with parking, however it was found to be restrictive for space On the 5th day, on removing the car for my AMALFI DRIVE, I found some slight scratches on the rear wing. On my evening return, there was no parking space for me as 2 cars had been allowed to park awkwardly to take double spaces, I had to park near the gate for the night and repeatedly checked from the balcony during the night as I was concerned. Next morning, as I could not park there, the host led me to a different Public Guarded Parking about one kilometre away, where it remained until checking out when I WALKED THE SUFFERING DISTANCE to retrieve the car for loading. On departure, I refused to pay the Tourist Tax, I followed by contacting the local council who have yet to reply. ROOM STANDARDS -See pictures. A squeeze Shower Door hitting Toilet-Towel Hook too high to reach due to shower door. MYOPINION, despite good reviews about this hotel, room no. 21 maybe not usually used but being a long holiday weekend in Italy, they were compelled to make do and possibly get away with it since that I informed the host that I was a local native, nevertheless, I had to suffer it for 8 days.

L'emplacement près de l'entrée du site de Pompéi. Merci au jeune homme de l'accueil qui a porté nos valises au deuxième étage. Le parking privé.

L'appartement au deuxième étage sans ascenseur. Le bruit de la route et de la gare très proches.

Posizione strategica, vicinissima all'entrata degli scavi di Pompei e alla fermata del treno per raggiungere Napoli, Ercolano, Sorrento, ... Parcheggio privato gratuito con numerosi posti a disposizione. Vicino alla struttura ci sono un bar aperto 24/24h, ristoranti, e l'info point turistico. Cucina ben fornita, la casa ha tutto l'essenziale per un soggiorno lungo o corto che sia.

Paar planken onder het bed gebroken. Geen last van gehad maar ook geprobeerd niet op dat stukje bed te gaan zitten

Walking distance to the Pompeii ruins gate and had parking, so we could leave the car at the hotel. Very clean with a lovely atmosphere. The woman at check in was lovely.

The shower door only opened about 35cm wide before it hit the toilet, so, not great if you're overweight
