This was a real authentic communitary-style accomodation isolated from a relatively touristic coast region. The term Ecolodge is no exageration, we were in the middle of the jungle and the lodge staff hold dear to the ecologic values. They also cook homemade breakfast and diners, very ellaborate and different everytime. They are genuinely caring and welcoming, shout-out to Anna on site who is extremely nice. If you are looking for an authentic and friendly community vibe, do not hesitate and book at La Shamana.

Just beware if you are scared of spiders. They should not be any in your room/bungalow but you will see some in the lodge.

Przepiękna natura, cisza, odgłosy dżungli. Dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania pobliskich parków natury. Pyszne śniadania. Bardzo miła i pomocna Pani właścicielka. Zdecydowanie polecam dla wielbicieli natury!

Un séjour fabuleux ! Une ambiance jungle avec tout le confort

Lovely place right in the jungle. Very comfortable bed and great shower. A good chance to see wildlife as it is very peaceful.

Das Konzept ist einfach toll und die Betreiberin hat viele Sachen schon sehr gut umgesetzt. So etwas wächst halt und wird immer besser durch ehrliche Bewertungen. Vielen lieben Dank, das wir als Gäste hier sein durften um diese Umgebung so zu genießen wie sie uns präsentiert wurde. Das ist COSTA RICA!!!! Einen großen und wirklich herzlichen Dank an das Frühstücksteam, insbesondere an Manny und ihr „Frauchen“. Bitte last diese authentische und emphatische Frau samt Ihren Hund Manny, niemals woanders wirken. Das passt so dermassen, geschmacklich, menschlich, und, und, und……….! Sollten wir nochmals in der Gegend sein, werden wir auf jeden Fall noch einmal vorbeischauen.

Alles top und nichts auszusetzen.

De locatie was fantastich, midden in de jungle. Vanuit de slaapkamer heb je daar een super uitzicht over. Mooie vogels en veel apen te zien. Personeel is super lief en begulpzaam en we konden onze kleding laten wassen voor een kleine vergoeding.

Vond het jammer dat we bij de tweede ochtend niet konden kiezen wat voor ontbijt we wilden. Je kreeg het gewoon en voor mijn man was te weinig... de douche was altijd lauw en omdat je in de jungle bent is alles super vochtig daar moet je dan wel tegen kunnen.
