Phnom Penh 51 Hotel & Residences

This hotel was more than I expected, the staff were so welcoming from the moment we arrived, very accomodating! The location was perfect within walking distance of landmarks/monuments, also a convenience store near door and an ATM. The room was a great size for 3 travellers with a view of the city and had everything we needed. Everything was clean couldn't complain there. The skybar and pool had beautiful views! I can't comment on noise level as I didn't hear anything and am also a deep sleeper 😅 Overall, I highly recommend staying at Phnom Penh 51, you het value for money and some! Book it, you won't regret it!

There is nothing to dislike

This is a hotel of two half's. The reception staff are outstanding. There is nothing they won't do for you. Kind, friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff are fabulous too. However, the bar and restaurant are badly letting this hotel down. We ate here twice. The first night, my husband had Khmer beef, which was beautiful. I had a burger. It was tepid, along with the fries. We decided to eat here again our last night. My husband had garlic prawns, which he said were lovely. I ordered chicken salad with fries. His came out, and mine appeared 10 minutes later. The fries were cold. I told the staff and asked for hot fries. By the time they came, (refried) the chicken was cold. Nobody came and asked if everything was OK. The staff, without exception, seemed uninterested. It's such a shame because the staff downstairs were the polor opposite and if you were not staying here and had no interaction with them, only the restaurant staff, you would leave with a very poor opinion of the hotel. Despite the restaurant experience, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is centrally located and, in our humble opinion, very good value for money.

This was a nice hotel centrally located in the center of Phnom Penh city. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My room was great, had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and had a nice view from the balcony. The included breakfast served at the rooftop every morning was fantastic. The rooftop pool was nice and the city views from the top floor in general were stunning both during the day and night! The massage I booked with the hotel was also great! Honestly there’s nothing really negative I can say about this hotel, it was all around Great!

Honestly, there’s nothing negative I can say about this hotel — it was all-around excellent!
