Location was brilliant

No tea or coffee facilities in the room The layout of the bathroom

excellent location set amongst bars and restaurants and medieval buildings. Room brilliant although a little noisy mid evening with children on football table outside. Booked in for breakfast which was excellent. The manager let us park outside hotel entrance, if not check parking before you go.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was good.

The beds were awful. Two small singles when we had booked a large double. Lumpy narrow mattresses, duvets which were too small to cover the beds and pillows which were big flat floppy cushions not pillows at all. All the bed linen was old, bobbly polyester and very sweaty. The walls were very thin. We could hear snoring from two different directions. We hardly slept

My dad and I had the breakfast buffet here. It was fantastic: An impressive array of continental rolls, meats, cheeses, salmon and eggs, with cereals, yogurt and fruit alongside. They also had bacon and scrambled eggs so a huge choice and all extremely tasty. It was €14.50 per person and we definitely ate our money’s worth. A return trip is on the cards for sure!

We chose this fine-looking hotel restaurant because we wanted to eat a typical Wiener Schnitzel, and it was on the menu. We waited at the entrance to be shown a table and the waitress, when she finally showed up, just waved her hand and said, in German, "Sit where you want". The rest of her service was barely civil and verging on downright rude.She waited until she plonked the hot food on our table to tell us "You can get your salad at the salad bar", which was annoying because we would have enjoyed it while we were waiting. The Schnitzel was disappointing, two piece of meat, too thick and just mediocre. French fries about the same. We were there 4/08/2017 at lunchtime.

I lived in Hameln a few years ago and this was a nostalgic trip back. We picked this hotel due to its location and i found it wanting to be honest. Clean and spacious i was disappointed that for the price the rooms were not en suite. Breakfast is available for a price as is car parking, again for a price.
