Vallåsens Värdshus - Hostel

Vallåsens Vårdshus er virkelig et fint sted, beliggende i skov, med hyggelig atmosfære, fine fælles fasciliteter. Kan varmt anbefale et ophold her.

Utrolig hyggeligt sted med god stemning.

Wir haben ganz wunderbare drei Tage hier verbracht. Die Gastfreundschaft der Familie ist wirklich außerordentlich. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir empfehlen ausdrücklich das optionale Frühstück. Hier gab es selbstgebackenes Brot, Brötchen und Gebäck, selbstgemachte Marmeladen und vieles mehr. Die Ausstattung der Gästeküche war perfekt, wenn auch mit zwei Arbeitsplätzen zu Stoßzeiten eventuell etwas eng. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen! Wir werden

Trevlig atmosfär Trevlig personal

Despite a very rainy stay (which has nothing to do with what the Hostel can influence ;-), we really enjoyed the stay (family with teenagers)! A clean, warm and nice room to stay with clean bed linen and towels, shower and toilet in the room and easy access (indoors) to the guest kitchen (which is actually two huge cooking spaces, very clean, tidy and equipped) with space in the fridge for each guest. Pool and ping pong table available (no cost!) and a great sauna! A lake nearby, which we did not swim in as the rain was pouring down! Grocery store (large choice of products) 7 min away from the hostel by car which is open relatively late (to check depending on when your stay is). Breakfast buffet was rich, tasty with several local products (incl. gluten free options). Very nice breakfast garden (as the sun arrived day 2!). Good "anonymous" hints from the staff ;-) on where to find Swedish "chanterelles" (mushrooms) in the surroundings and we sure did find many (but did not pick them as we would not have been able to cook them as they deserve...leave them for others if you do not intend to cook/eat!). We also found lots of blueberry's in the surrounding forests. Very eco-friendly hostel and really nice staff. As a bonus, there is an adventure park (not the same owner as the hostel), 10 min by car from the hostel with great activities in the old slalom skiing station (closed in 2022). We really enjoyed the Mountain-biking in old skiing slopes, even if the rain was pouring down!

Dejlig lokation i rolige omgivelser. Desværre var receptionen begrænset åben under vores korte ophold, men ind og ud gik nemt med god kommunikation og vejledning inden ankomst. Værelset var fin størrelse til os men var fugtigt og lugtede meget muggent. Mange fliser på badeværelset var knækket og brusehoved kunne ikke sidde fast. Nåede desværre ikke at spise på stedet.

Väldigt mysigt, stället ligger väldigt fint i vad som känns skogen fast det är väldigt nära Våxtorp och en hyfsat stor väg. Värdshuset hade supertrevlig personal. Bra att man kunde ladda bilen och att de var flexibla med incheckning, beställning av frukost osv. Minus på att barn fick betala full frukostpaket, sen hade vårt badrum behövt sig en rejäl uppfräschning samt bättre städning av rummet, det var t e x spindelväv vid ena sängen. (Eftersom vi kom på natten så löste vi denna städning själv) Vi kommer hur som helst återkomma eftersom miljön var toppen och sängarna sköna :)

Kommer helt sikkert tilbage. Magisk sted i flot natur med fantastisk restaurant.

Trevligt och familjärt ställe med mat utöver det vanliga.
