The Waterfront Escape - with panoramic sea views

location was good for us.

no hanging space for clothes in the small rooms. no clothes dryer. very hard to get clothes dry because the weather was shit and rained every day.

Fabulous location. Warm and inviting family home with everything at your fingertips. Loved it.

Great location and view. Good outside area. Comfortable and well equipt with a good sized double garage to house bikes/surfboards etc.

Decor very tired in places, especially the wallpaper. Unnecessarily aggressive pre stay communication with talk of $1,000 dollar fines, eviction and security cameras monitoring your movements with additional security cameras able to be put up during the stay at owner's whim. Relax and enjoy was a bit of an afterthought. Made me feel like a criminal.

Location was very good in a quiet area. The views overlooking the harbour were wonderful and better from the master suite upstairs. Access to the house was easy. Both bathrooms were very good and the toiletries supplied appreciated. Also, appreciated was the well-stocked fridge in the garage that contained both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages that you good use and replace. After a long hot drive and late afternoon check in it was really great to be able to just unpack and enjoy a drink on the deck taking in the view.

Broken plate had been left out on the bench and the older part of the house is a little tired but still fine. Some of the cooking utensils were broken and not easy to use however all of this was minor given the overall quality and enjoyability of the home. Instructions on recycling could have been clearer, and the recycling bin was locked. I did not find the book in and ID process either user friendly or helpful given all the costs had already been charged to my card and cleared.

There should always be a drier; There needs to be either a stronger air condition or two: one at the bedroom end as well as the kitchen. I would have liked the deck to be totally enclosed from the railway tacks and non accessibility to the open front road.
