"Okay for a stopover"

6.0

I booked here because I had an early morning ferry to catch and this was the closest hotel. The good points: Free shuttle to the ferry, pre book it when you check in. Breakfast was included which is nice because there is nothing close by. Not so good points: Check in was slow and the staff seemed confused. They kept on saying I needed to pay but I pre-paid and it took alot of convincing that I did. The room is basic, just a fan so if it is warm outside you will be hot. No elevator, which is fine for me but for others be prepared. There is nothing around so eating either means at the hotel or taking a taxi into Le Ceiba. If you arrive late at night then you should eat before going to the airport. Overall I survived fine but the staff needs to be trained more in hospitality, especially the front desk.
