Nice and quiet motel next to the beach. It is a good basis for the city center, the albatross center and the tunnel beach. Very nice owner.

Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Bei der stürmischen Nacht hat man den Luftzug durch die Ritzen der Fenster und Türen gespürt und die Geräusche des Sturmes waren echt laut im Zimmer zu hören.

This has become our go to place to stay when visiting friends in Dunedin. While the property is on the older side, we again found everything comfortable and useful. The bed is very comfortable and having actual an split system aircon/heat pump meant we could keep the room temp at the perfect level for us. The kitchen was great; having access to not only a microwave, but a stove top and a rice cooker was very useful, particularly as we were there over Christmas Day. There is a small shop/ take away across the road, but if you have a car, it's only a few mins drive away to two Woolworths, a Kmart, and The Warehouse. The owners are delightful and we really appreciated the Christmas cake left for us.

While we were there, there was some construction going on, which impacted the parking and made things a bit interesting each day.
