Catskill Motor Court Motel

My stay at Catskill Motor Court was a pleasant surprise. The manage Sam could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The place was clean and a little charming.All is all I fully recommend the motel.

I know the Catskills well after spending 10 falls/winters/summers hiking there. This was the very first motel I stayed at, so I’ve considered it to be a bit of a safe haven if another area of accommodation goes wrong. It’s generally easy to book and the staff are wonderful.

Good for family with kids

Needed a basic hotel for a quirk late arrival, early morning departure. Room was clean. No issues. Only bad was no coffee maker in room and no coffee at office.

No pool, noise from road

The room was very clean had all the basics and the service was great. The hotel manager was very friendly. The bed mattresses were not of top quality. Overall was a very nice stay.

Checked in at 8 pm and given a non smoking room with no heat on. The room was very cold when needed to go to sleep. The non smoking room reeked of smoke. A sign in the non smoking room read not to smoke in bed. Everything smelled of smoke when we left. Needed a room just to sleep for the night as was checking out at 7 am. Horrible experience.

Granted, we were there in the offseason, but the place is a disaster with garbage strewn about the property. It was a $39 hotel room, not an $89 room.

Good for the price. There is no coffee maker but a microwave. WiFi did not work for me but cellular service (AT&T) was good enough.

Was surprisingly very impressed with this motel! The rooms are very clean and premises are beautiful. For a low price, you not only get what you paid for, but also more. Premises incorporate a pool and park, so will definitely be coming back in the summer! Close to many hiking trails, ski resort (Hunter Mountain), waterfalls, etc. Beautiful scenery. Highly recommend for those looking to save some money on their vacation.
