Everything was fine .

The host was helpful recommending a good local restaurant and accommodating storing my bicycle. A very, architecturally interesting home, designed by the owner.

It is an amazing house with a great personality, the room was really comfortable, coffee machine, and tea maker, the bathroom was beautiful and big over all it was great the hosts an incredible well educated, love everything there 5 min walking to downtown town, but if you walk the other way you will find best gelatos

That I did not have more time to spend there

The apartment is set on the top floor of a modern, architect designed house. Both the house and the apartment are very well designed and very tastefully decorated in a contemporary style. The owner is very personable and helpful. The apartment was comfortable, very clean, well maintained and spacious. It is in a quiet area, just a short walk from the historic, walled city of Treviso, which is well worth visiting. The station is around a 30 minute walk from the apartment, but the owner was very helpful in calling a taxi, which turned up quickly, even though it was relatively early on a Sunday morning. The taxi journey cost just under €15 (March 2024).

I used the property as a base to watch some cycling races in the area. Whilst outside the historic core of Treviso it was located in a quiet area off the main road about 10 min walk to the centre. I liked that the room was effectively the attic space of the house. It had plenty of room and whilst not an apartment it had a coffee machine and kettle for hot drinks and a fridge. There was even space for a small kitchen table. You share the house with the host which you either like or don’t, but I liked the interaction. The arrangement didn’t impinge on my use of the room. Breakfast was included in the rate which was good.

My only minor point was that the shower enclosure leaked and you have a puddle of water on the floor after using it. Space for parking is limited and meant I had to arrange with the host to move cars around. Didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the property though.
