fantastic, very comfortable and has a lot of character. the host was amazing had a great stay

I loved the silence and proximity to thermals. You can walk to cafes and restaurants and even a nice walk to the plaza. The decor is super eclectic and fun! Little treasures from romantic eras long gone. Different areas to sit and either watch the kids play, the birds fly or Colossus (the handsome Guard dog) take his afternoon naps =) Señor Oscar is a friendly and chatty host. He is very experienced and eager to accommodate your needs!

The bathroom did not have a mat and the water was not particularly hot, but more warm - which is not a luxury but a necessity especially when coming back late from the hot springs and taking off early in the day. The towels seemed to just hold the moisture and did not dry overnight but the cleaning lady was quick to bring us a new set. I wish the breakfast would have been a bit more robust but it was just enough (arepa, toast, scrambled egg, cheese and coffee or chocolate). No fruit or juice. There are plans for a cafe and a restaurant which may add to the available amenities (for a fee) but may also impact the quiet ambiance.
