Appartamenti La Menaresta quiet & relax near Bellagio

A charming Italian Alpine feel with large rooms!

Not being accustomed to hairpin mountain roads, the ride into Bellagio was a little unnerving. Trips to other lake locations went better. On the side, we lost water due to street work. Simona did her best to get water back and running. She's fantastic!

Simona was fantastic. She gave us lots of good advice on what to do in the area with insider tips. The apartment was nicely furnished and spacious. Parking was very easy too.

There was no air conditioning or kitchen in the lower unit. Simona cleaned any dirty dishes for us each day, which was helpful. The upper (attic) unit had air conditioning, but it was not very effective for much of the apartment. We happened to be there on extremely hot days so things would likely have been better under normal conditions.

Appartamento datato ma funzionale. Buona la posizione e molto luminoso. Parcheggio davanti casa quasi sempre disponibile e gratuito. Qualche piccola miglioria lo renderebbe più confortevole. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Host molto cordiale e disponibile.

Appartamento posto al secondo piano di una palazzina di due piani. Caldo eccessivo, aria condizionata assolutamente inefficace (1 condizionatore portatile tipo pinguino molto piccolo e posto in corridoio). Una stanza con letto matrimoniale e finestra a dimensioni normali, l'altra con due lettini singoli e con finestrelle in alto alla parete. La colazione non c'era. Solo capsule per caffè espresso. Mi è stato detto al ckeck-out che andava richiesta, ma in casa non c'era nulla da mangiare (biscotti, fette biscottate, marmellata etc). 1 sola bottiglia d'acqua naturale in frigo per due persone, per 2 giorni con 35 gradi temperatura esterna media.

We had the whole 2 BR downstairs to ourselves. Unlimited Lavazza expresso. Very rustic but cozy interior. Very helpful staff. Slept well.

I didn't like the hangers, lol. Also, didn't like that we had to pay another EUR 2.50 per pax upon checking in. Booking.com should includes all taxes/fees into one all-in price

The size, the comfort, the location (just before the annoying roads of bellagio, allowing you to drive to hikes around the area without always having to go through awful roads), the hostess, the cleanliness.

Maybe I would've added a fan in case someone likes the room to be a little more cold

Spacious apartment with a great location for exploring the local area. Well equipped kitchen, a little dated, but functional. Very peaceful and quiet setting with secure parking offered for the motorbikes. Very good host, she offered us a garage to park our two motorbikes when the weather turned wet. The village has all the facilities you need, a small shop and 2 restaurants, together with a museum.

Water took a long time to warm up and the shower was not the best. Everything else was good

The owner is so nice! She really give us lots of good suggestions. The house is beautiful and lovely garden.
