Rommai Villa

Stayed for one night and it was amazing! The villa is beautiful and the owners are so friendly and accommodating - they went out of their way to find us a taxi back to the villa and recommended wonderful restaurants. The rooms are stunning, and the ambiance is immaculate. Very peaceful and serene :-) thank you we had a wonderful time.

We showed up realizing we were to be the only guests for our 3 night stay; we felt to be treated very well. The food was amazing; the owners do a great job. We had the Coconut Villa, it was beautiful. Clean, spacious, authentic. The internet works well, but this is a place perfect for disconnecting. Read a book, enjoy your partners company, nap in the garden or on your terrace, eat amazing food on site or venture into the village for many options. If you have a car, or can ride the hotels bicycles, definitely go to the near by Ban Du public hot springs to soak your feet. The Thai massage at the hot springs is the best I ever had; authentic temple trained masseuses.

We arrived in Chiang Rai beginning of November. The place is a bit further outside the city center (approximately 20 minutes by car) but the host will arrange pick up for you from the bus terminal. When we arrived we were greeted politely by the couple with a fresh coconut which is a nice gesture. The place is very well-maintained with a beautiful garden. The cottage itself is clean and quite cute. Breakfast was included and was tasty every time. The only thing that you need to make sure is to communicate with the couple very clearly as they do not speak any English. Luckily, they use Google translate to converse with you but do double check with them every time you speak to them to avoid any misunderstandings. Overall, the stay was really pleasant as the couple is friendly and pays attention to cleanliness.

Very pretty property very quiet slept great both nights. Owner is very nice and accommodating. Made a great breakfast for us both days and ate out on back deck with beautiful scenery. They had some bikes to borrow which were very convenient and used them to go to the park and store etc. They are decent bikes just need some maintenance brakes shifters etc but we were able to make them work for us. Would definitely recommend staying there just know it's more like a B&B than a resort so no spa etc. Owner showed us a good spot to eat and hired a taxi driver to take us to a few temples and then the best place to eat in Thailand I have experienced so far.

An absolute oasis ! The most beautiful place I have ever stayed in my 15 years of traveling in Asia. There is only four villas here and the owners who live on the site go out of their way to accommodate us. Nice bicycles that they have here are great early mornings ride in the beautiful green first setting around here. I love it here and for sure will be back here many times.

This resort is a little oasis unto itself. The owners have built a lovely traditional Thai-style complex, with rooms above in the main building, and separate bungalows a few steps away.There's a beautiful pond, and the landscaping is designed to buffer you from the University just across the road. The owners are very outgoing, and they make wonderful breakfasts and dinners. Highly recommended!
