Palazzo Penco Apartment

All was good, it was a nice place in the central location of Genova, close to the harbour and Aquarium. Although the narrow and therefore often dark streets near the apartment felt bit scary, the apartment itself felt quite safe. Sofa was comfy, table under the big window was cute, kitchen was well equipped to make our meals, shops nearby. Owner was very nice and helpful.

For my taste the room had a bit too much stuff everywhere. For example if you maybe stay longer and want to use the closet for your clothes - it's already full on blankets, pillows and sheets. On the other hand, the kitchen was very well equipped with coffee and tea and oil and salt, so no need to buy everything for a short stay. Also the building was a bit noisy during the day, in the bedroom you could hear people talking and laughing next door all day long. Nightime was quiet though.

We loved the location, it’s very central and close to the nicest places in town. The apartment was clean and the contact with the host was very easy.

Due to old building structure the walls are thin and therefore you can hear noises from outside and other apartments.

Federica was a great host from the moment we arrived. She was in touch, welcoming us and giving us directions for our stay. She showed us where to store our bags while we took the tour of the ship. The apartment was well-located near the aquarium and the marina, convenient to the train station, comfortable, and had a nice entrance. I forgot a ring in the apartment, and she made it easy for me to check back in. I looked for it and couldn't find it, and eureka! Federica sent me a photo an hour later showing that she had found it. I am so grateful, Federica. That ring means a lot to me. She left it under the rug and then texted me to find out if I had found it. Thank you! I recommend it 100%.

Beautiful apartment in the center of Genoa. Very caring hostess Federica sent us detailed instructions for settlement. Very comfortable bed and sofa. Quiet area in the very center of a beautiful city. Recommended!
