Spacious room and accessible location. The host was responsive.

The bathtub hot water and cool water mode were a bit hard to control

The room was very spacious, which doesn't happen very often in Japan, so it was nice to be able to deal with our luggage without discomfort. The accommodation is in 15 min walk from the main train station, so the location is quite good.

A kitchen towel + some hand soap would be a nice addition to the kitchenette, as well as some plates since there was nothing really to eat from after cooking (I think there was one bowl). It was nice of the host to invite us over to a karaoke night out with some local experiences at their own bar, but when we arrived we discovered that the place was actually closed on that day. This was a really disappointing surprise as we had actually given up on going to karaoke in another city for the sake of doing it in Kanazawa and I had even sent some questions about it via Booking but got no response. It became obvious that it was just an automatic message, which I believe should include information on closing days/times.

A very simple but cosy small apartment within easy walking distance of many of Kanazawa's attractions. The kitchen was very useful too. The place wasn't flash, but was clean, functional and very good value. Glad westayed there,
