La Cartuja de Cazalla

Diese Unterkunft war ein absolutes Mega Highlight! Unsere Unterkunft ist in mitten eines alten Klosters gelegen und trotzdem haben wir jedes Komfort genießen können. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, es gab sogar einen großen Pool zum Baden, viele Sitz und Essbereich in der gesamten Anlage verteilt, Einen Blick auf die gesamte Landschaft mit einem wunderschönen Panorama, und eine Ruinenanlage, die wir in zwei Tagen immer noch nicht genug erkunden konnten.

El lugar

El alojamiento está en una ubicación estupenda, rodeada de vegetación. La cocina es amplia y bien equipada. La casa es preciosa y las estancias para dormir son limpias y cómodas. La zona exterior es preciosa y está muy bien cuidada, con dos piscinas estupendas con agua de manantial. El conjunto de la Cartuja está muy bien conservado, da gusto pasear por ella. El personal encargado de la estancia fue muy amable y servicial Una estancia de lujo a precio asequible.

Fue incluso mejor de lo que esperaba

Alojarse en un monasterio cartujo en mitad de la sierra tiene un encanto increíble. El entorno es muy bonito y la paz y la tranquilidad que se respiran no tiene precio. La atención del personal inmejorable. Nosotros fuimos con nuestros perretes y estuvieron genial.

Serenity just the best, history just the best and the Manager a lovely lady. We took our two small dogs, and were upgraded to an ideal setting, straight out the of French doors to our own grassed area with orange trees. Perfecto! Nobody bothered us, we could come and go as we pleased, We liked that! Overall a very nice stay, although the church was not for the faint hearted or people with a spiritual nature. Could be very creepy in parts, at night especially!! Overall a very nice stay, Muchas gracias! xxxx

The only things that could be improved on was the cleaning: bedspread stained and numerous cobwebs and dead fliesaround the high window. Also the sheets were too small for the large double bed and the second bedroom and bathroom are in dire need of a complete paint job; rendering coming of walls and smelt of damp too. A pity these points let down what was a pleasant stay.

This place was the highlight of our trip to Spain. The monastery is a magical place, steeped in history and the energy of 600 years of spiritual people,s meditations. We had access to all the buildings and ruins and spent many hours exploring. Bird watching was just incredible. I identified perhaps 40 different species, and the area was alive with bird song. It is a very special place and I am grateful to the people who have dedicated themselves to restoring it and making it available. The staff was kind and helpful.

Very spotty internet,rarely had warm water, rooms were cold. One must bring the attitude of a monk.
