Oporto Golden View Ribeira

Doesn't look like much from outside, but inside apartment was very clean and the location is excellent, a short walk down to the Ribeira district. There is laundry which is nice but we found it a bit difficult to use, and needing two dry cycles to get the clothes dry. There is no A/C in the apartment so in the summer it gets pretty hot (though they did provide fans in each room). Also you need to take trash out yourself to the street. These are relatively minor greivances. The owners were easy to reach on whatsapp, and when we had a small issue they were at the apartment in 15 minutes to take care of it, which was above and beyond good service. Overall would recommend staying here, good choice for Porto at a reasonable rate.

The apartment was perfect for our 2 night stay in Porto. Stone's throw from river and easy walk to all points of interest across town. Lift, washer & TV all nice to have as well. Best part were the friendly owners who met us upon arrival and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!

This self-catering, tastefully-decorated apartment was comfortable, well-equipped, and very clean. We were greeted by our hosts, Eduardo and Elisabete, who were very generous with their time orienting us to the apartment and making suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing in Porto. The sample of Port wine and pastry de nata was a lovely treat. The bed was comfortable as was the sofa. The kitchen was well-equipped for light meals. It was great to have a washing machine as we were travelling with few changes of clothes. The apartment was a welcome retreat after a day on the busy streets of the city. It was really well-located within easy walking distance of the Ribeira and the Metro. The building was very secure and had a lift. An additional perk was the small discount that our hosts have arranged in the small restaurant right next door – excellent dinner, too! In summary, we highly recommend Oporto Golden View Ribeira.
