Hungry Lion Sigiriya

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas versteckt in zweiter Reihe, sodass man von der Hauptstraße keinen Lärm mitbekommt. Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und sauber, die Hosts sind super nett und haben uns bei allen Fragen sehr weitergeholfen. Der Lion‘s Rock ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Essen ist fantastisch, sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen war super lecker und authentisch. Wir können das Hostel absolut empfehlen!

A great hotel, comfy beds and great shower. The staff were exceptional.

Located near the Sigriya site. Comfortable beds, functional ac, water.

Very large comfortable room, with high ceilings. Nice balcony area with table and chairs. Better than average breakfast, the banana rotis were a nice touch. Good value room for the cost, lots of parking. Fairly short walk into the center of Sigi. Quiet at night, dark if walking back from the center of town.

Building works next door at time of stay, but wasn't really intrusive, our room overlooked the construction. Bit too much with the trying to sell trips, safaris and wood carving when we checked in. Little further out from center of Sigi than anticipated but walkable.

The rustic property is well maintained. The staffs made the stay really pleasant and helped out with the local itinerary.amazing cooks , we had very good dinner and breakfast here.

The staff were amazing, really attentive and helped us out a lot with their Tuktuk. The food was incredible, shout out to the chef! Breakfast was lovely and we had dinner one night which was so tasty. The actual hotel was stunning the pictures don’t do it justice! Overall an amazing stay and we’re leaving very happy.

The WiFi was quite patchy but it’s expected in the remote area.

Great spacious and very clean rooms, excellent breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. It’s in walking distance to the Lion Rock and Piduralanga Rock and close to restaurants. We felt very comfortable - the beds have been cosy!
