Excellent location, set up and atmosphere. Just what we needed.

Cozy, clean, comfortable with all amenities. Absolutely amazing view in quiet location. Easy private parking. Very well located to explore the island including Brothers Head which is 2 minutes down the road.

The cottage was spacious and the view of the sea magnificent. It was a shame that the weather meant we couldn’t sit outside to make use of the table and benches…. The basket of sweet goodies was a nice touch, thank you.

It was difficult to identify the cottage on the main road - perhaps a double-sided sign could be put up so the logo could be seen from both directions? Other than that, we had a lovely stay!

Thank you for a wonderful experience. There’s no need to recommend the Isle of Skye – it is a uniquely beautiful piece of land, and like Irn-Bru – there’s nothing quite like it. In my opinion, at least three days are needed to see the essentials of the island. As for Taigh Rob, it is truly a pleasure to recommend it: it felt like a real home away from home. The hosts, Jim and Pauline, go above and beyond to ensure the comfort of their guests – from preparing the house before our arrival, to being immediately available for any questions, and attending to even the smallest details. The location is excellent, close to several attractions on the island, and serves as a convenient base for exploring Skye. One of the rooms is a suite with a private bathroom, which was especially convenient for the older couple traveling with us. Our only suggestion for improvement next time would be to extend our stay at Taigh Rob… Many thanks to Jim and Pauline for creating such a warm and comfortable stay.
