Punta Duarte Garden Inn

- nice remote hotel with stunning view of the surrounding bay, especially at sunset - gorgeous tropical beach nearby (3min by foot) - lovely host - great fresh food at breakfast and dinner on the patio

- bathroom could have more light - watertap was a bit loose

Excelente lugar para los que nos encanta la naturaleza y la playa. Atención inmejorable, comodas habiraciones y atardeceres espectaculares desde la piscina . La comida es casera muy sabrosa. El camino desde la carretera principal no esta asfalto pero se puede transitar

The hotel has a really nice view from the room we stayed. It is really closed to the beach and the food is good.

The hotel needs care. It feels a little neglected. The pool had mould and some tile has fallen off. The staff is polite and nice but undertrained. The depend a lot in the owner and she is not always there. For example we were never able to ask for cocktails because she is the only one who know how to make them. Also, she is the only one able to charge you with credit card.

Our room was lovely but it was right next to the main dining area separated by a thin curtain which frequently blew open. The only seating in the private area in front of our room (our side of the curtain) was a large cushioned bed / chaise longue thing. We therefore had no private or quiet space outside our room we could sit comfortably. Maybe that came with the price we paid but I recommend checking before booking.
