The location is amazing right opposite the beach The worker who gave us towels etc was lovely.

The owner was so rude, threatening to cancel my booking bevause she did not like the way I sounded when I initaially said that I dudvnot feel comfortable paying over the phone. I needed the accommodation and had to give her my credit card details over the phone which is a security risk because she was not set up for online payments. The place had roaches and was overdue for an overhaul, I got the impression the owner would not spend any money on the place.

The only thing was it was central to everything.

The moment we walked in it had a horrible old musty smell. Had to get the throw pillows off the bed, they stunk. The toilet seat was stained and peeling, something cheap and quick to fix, the sink in the bathroom was dirty, still had something orange all over it from previous occupants. The shower eww, i went to the shop and bleached before use, it looked like it had been sealed 50 yrs ago and that seal was peeling off and marked. The floors are so old and marked they look dirty and they were, dog hair everywhere. I have stayed in a lot of old motels in small towns, but this was not very nice. The fixes to make it comfortable and feel clean wouldn't cost a million bucks. They really need to do some much needed upgrades. Definitely wont be staying there again. It cost $365 for 2 nights, would rather have played more and stayed at the Mantra, like we have previously, but I read the reviews and even though people said it was old, they said it was clean. Only good part was the bed was clean and quite comfortable, pleasantly surprised.
