Seasabelle Hotel near Athens Airport

We stayed after a visit to Athens and Crete so we would be by the airport. So we only stayed one night. But we really liked it. The location right on the beach that’s great. Nice views from the room and easy to get to the beach. The beach right by the hotel is not that comfortable for walking but a couple blocks away is the start of a nice sandy beach that goes on for a long stretch that includes beach clubs that rent nice chairs and beachfront restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel was quite good. The service at Hotel and Restaurant were exceptional, including from Pamela and Andrew. All the staff were very friendly and wanted to go above and beyond to provide great service, which they did. We also found the nearby streets to have lots of interesting shops. The area has a beachy vibe and Vacation vibe less touristy than some of the other areas we have stayed. Water nearby is great for swimming and feels clean and safe although getting into the water right by the hotel is a little challenging because of the Rocky bottom. More Sandy just a couple bucks away, an easy walk. Hotel was also helpful in helping us book a number of taxis and were able to grant us a late checkout. Easy to communicate with them in English. I would definitely go back and try to spend more time in the area exploring.

Clean, modern hotel with friendly staff. Room 102 was quiet with a lovely view of the water. There was a restaurant on site, we didn’t eat there but it looked lovely. Lots of amenities nearby - a cafe that opens at 6am directly across the road (pod coffee in room too), plus coffee from 7:30am in the restaurant.

So, I’ll admit we stayed here on the last night of a long vacation just because we had an early flight and the hotel was in reasonably close proximity to the airport. That being said, they had some GREAT photographers taking the photos on their website. In short, the elevator didn’t work, the door to our room wouldn’t lock, the safe in the room didn’t lock, the water bottle provided in the refrigerator had been opened, etc etc etc. Add to that the group of kids yelling and screaming outside the place at 3 am, and it was a less than restful stay. And the beach IS right across the street, but the area is not very nice. The photo was our view.

We stayed in Artemida kind of randomly, needing a place close to the airport before a flight out the next day. So glad we did... Artemida is a fun seaside town that shows you what a non-touristy beach town in Greece looks like. Beautiful beach, tons of local restaurants and bars, and a very laid-back vibe. The Seasabelle was a great choice for us. Centrally located, with wonderful comfortable rooms with oceanfront balconies. And a bar/restaurant onsite for added convenience. Staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were super clean and comfortable. This is a great spot.

Nice and comfortable room, right next to the small beach. We stayed for one night on the way in, very close to the airport. Breakfast was extra and it was amazing!
