"Kind host and amazing historic property with a beautiful garden!"

We loved Civil Life, Steve was very accommodating, letting us safely store our luggage when we arrived early before check-in. There’s a lot of great history to the building which is a former 1940s Mathematics School and Steve told us all about it. A great place to stay for those who love nostalgic history. It’s also really close to all the sights we wanted to visit like the old department store and temple. Would highly recommend!

An absolutely amazing stay! The host was incredibly helpful and informative, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The house itself is charming, with a rich history and cozy decor that makes you feel right at home. Everything was spotless, and the location can't be beat — right in the heart of Tainan. Couldn’t have asked for more and would definitely stay here again!
