"Lovely couple of days in Derbyshire."

Good size room, very clean and tidy. Lovely shower. Very welcoming couple. Really good cooked breakfast. House is in a pretty spot next to the river.

Anna and Andy the hosts were fabulous. The room was really comfy and well appointed, lovely shower, great location and the Breakfast was fabulous. Plenty of parking

Perhaps it was me but I think they should make it obvious that Breakfast is included as it is just exceptional

Stayed at Holden House for the Download festival, perfect location with the bus stop just across the road, straight to the festival. Staff were great, couldn't be more helpful, sorted our early arrival and a breakfast barm to our room the next day. Room was lovely and bed really comfortable, shower great, tea, coffee, water and a brownie all provided in the room. Would definitely stay again, thank you for making our stay so lovely.

"Great value for money in a lovely cosy accommodation, and in an idyllic location"

I stayed at Holden House ahead of Download Festival, and it was the perfect location! Such an idyllic area and only a 15 minute drive to Donington Park. I had dinner at the Clock Warehouse, which was a 5 min walk from Holden House and such a lovely pub! It’s right by the River Trent making it a stunning walking/running location. Holden House itself was a really lovely property and my room was perfect for my stay! Very comfy bed, great shower and all extremely clean upon arrival. Check in was so smooth and very informative (so sorry, didn’t catch the chap’s name!) - he came up and showed me the facilities and explained everything so thoroughly. They weren’t able to provide a full English breakfast service the next morning, but instead could take orders for breakfast baps which suited me perfectly! They were very apologetic but the fact they had organised this was brilliant and didn’t affect me at all. Check out was also very smooth and easy. Would definitely stay here again!

The tv was occasionally a bit slow, but it really didn’t affect me - can’t fault the property or my stay at all!!

We’ve stayed here several times and always had a lovely friendly welcome , with the rooms clean and well appointed. The breakfast was great with nothing too much trouble for the host. Our room had a lovely view of the river Trent, very tranquil and relaxing. Thank you, we will be back.
