1810 Emerson House Bed & Breakfast - Adults Only

My friend and I stayed the night in the Chamberlin Suite, and everything was just delightful. Tony and Beth were excellent hosts - welcoming, friendly, and really went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. From homemade wine and an appetizer plate upon arrival, to the delicious evening baked treats, to the terrific multi-course breakfast prepared in the very early morning (upon request), everything was perfect. The home itself is lovely, complete with a comfortable outside patio, as well as a piano for the musically-inclined. Tony chatted with us before leaving and asked for any suggestions, but there were honestly none to give, as I would not have changed a thing. 1810 Emerson House is well worth the cost, and I will certainly book again the next time I stay in Beloit. You can't beat an experience like this, as Tony and Beth embody what the hospitality experience is meant to be.

1810 Emerson House Bed & Breakfast The owners (Tony and Beth Bonasera) who operate this beautiful late 1700 Georgian Colonial style home are wonderful! Tony cooks a scrumptious multi course breakfast every morning with so much attention to detail and dietary limitations. Beth's baked goods is first in class. I booked a 3 night stay for my wife's birthday as a getaway present. The personalized approach and level of professionalism that was shown by this husband and wife power duo is nothing short of amazing. I honestly say without question that if you’re in the market for the best Bed & Breakfast experience this side of the Mason Dixie, look no further than 1810 Emerson House Bed & Breakfast. Tony and Beth WILL NOT disappoint you. My wife felt pampered during her entire stay there. The community the facility is located in is also amazingly warm, beautiful and charming. With Tony's on-point recommendations, my wife was able to explore this small beautiful town. It is the perfect getaway. My wife travels a lot and it was awesome  to have her pleasantly surprised (not an easy feat I must add) by gem finds like 1810 Emerson House Bed & Breakfast. A hidden gem indeed. I honestly have nothing critical to say about this magical experience. I can only stress to all readers of this review how truly amazing this experience was and implore you to experience this for yourself. Book soon and often because that’s definitely what my wife and I are planning to do. We spent a weeknight at the 1810 Emerson in Beloit during a road trip from Ann Arbor Michigan to Winona Minnesota. Accommodating host, clean and comfortable room and delicious breakfast. We were treated to a fine appetizer and homemade dry white wine upon arrival. Tony made us feel welcome. Excellent value! Great location. We’ll plan to visit again when traveling this area.

My wife and I usually opt for AirBnB, but we stumbled across the Emerson House on our way up to Devil's Lake State Park (from STL). What an awesome experience. The town of Beloit is going through somewhat of a renaissance, with delicious supper clubs (thanks for the recommendation, Tony), shops, bike paths, parks, etc. But we honestly just wanted to stay at the house all day. The space is intentional, from the super cozy rooms to the common / dining areas. Tony and Beth are incredibly helpful without being invasive, and they both know their way around the town, and the kitchen. Tony cooked up an outstanding three-course breakfast (we were so stuffed we needed a to-go bag) and Beth made some melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chip cookies. Definitely looking for an excuse to go back soon.

Making the reservation, preparing to travel, and check-in were all smooth with a good level of communication from Tony. Tony confirmed our dietary needs and met them with 5 stars. In fact - the food was *very* good! The room was clean and had all of the amenities we needed, including homemade cupcakes which were very good! The house is super well appointed. My only constructive feedback would be that the hall floors were squeaky which made it difficult to be stealthy, causing concern that we might have disturbed the other guests when we came in after midnight.

We had a lovely stay at 1810 Emerson House, a small bed and breakfast in Beloit, Wisconsin. Tony and Beth are great hosts, and, with just two guest rooms, it was more like staying as a guest in someone’s home than in a hotel. We booked online (easy!) and on the morning of our arrival, Tony texted asking about our expected arrival time, so he could have appetizers and wine ready in advance. Beth greeted us on arrival and showed us around and Tony worked his kitchen magic with the appetizers and his homemade wine. We stayed in the Chamberlin Suite, which has an en-suite bathroom and comfortable bed. We ate a delicious three-course breakfast at 8 the next morning (thanks for being so flexible—some B&B owners are not). See the photo of Tony’s yummy omelettes. It was a nice B&B experience, just as we expected. I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay as much as we did.

We had a wonderful stay! Tony was welcoming, the evening treat delicious--thx Beth, the room comfortable, and breakfasts were outstanding and beautiful--works of art! Tony and Beth were creative and accommodating cooks to work with food allergies and were also happy to do it! We felt very "taken care of"! The gardens were beautiful and the home was decorated beautifully! We would definitely stay again!

Emerson House is an immaculate B&B in every respect. Tony was a gracious host and made sure everything was spot-on during our stay. Tony's breakfast was amazing and totally home cooked, including the homemade pineapple sorbet! Beth's baked goods were a delight. This was our best B&B experience ever and we are sure we will be going back again!
