There was a lot that I liked. We booked the Family Room, it was clean and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. I loved the decor and furnishings, very coastal. I liked that it had a pool and that the beach and main street are so close. Great value for the price.

The main thing I didn't like was that we had to park our car at the front of the Motel in the carpark, and carry all our luggage to our room. An offer of a trolley may have helped. A bit more shade in the pool area would be nice too. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

The feel of where the motel is. Close walking distance to food and drinks and beach. Room was lovely and clean.

This place is superb. We had big room with comfy bed as well as a table and chairs. Small outside area as well. Good shower and loads of luggage space. Good wifi across complex. Small car park. Absolutely lovely pool area which has some much needed shade. Pool is nice size as well Location is near several bars and restaurant as well as a huge beach. We were allowed to check in early and owner even showed us to our room. We did this as part of long road trip ending in cairns and although we stayed in more up market venues this place is an absolute diamond and fantastic value for money. If i ever come back to Oz i will come here again.

Nice room in a peaceful setting with outside pool and communal kitchen

Unfortunately the roof leaked in our allocated room and we moved to another where the A/C had a vibration problem.
