Some places are more than hotels, they are experiences. The room was amazing, but the warmth and hospitality was what made it so memorable and authentic. The morning chats (regardless the language barrier) in the living room, where your breakfast is served and the care of the hosts. Speaking of breakfast - it was phenomenal. Fresh local ingredients and fruits, great variety, delicious orange juice, just squeezed for you, the homemade cake. For a clean freak like me, it was such a pleasant surprise to see a place which matches my hygiene standards (and this happens rarely, even with the very high end hotels). It’s a small BnB, we got the whole floor, which was the room and the bathroom. The bathroom was actually a whole large room, new and wonderfully decorated - see my photos. We were very impressed by the attention to the detail, the charm, the high end finishes, the two Juliette balconies with strawberries. The location is also great, in the historic center walking zone, but also just a min from the road, so you don’t have to carry the suitcases far. Putignano is a charming little town with an easy access to the more touristy locations. Ask for recommendations and the hosts are going to be happy to share them. Parking is easy and free on some streets around. We’ll definitely be back, this was the best place we stayed during our trip around all Southern Italy and the Amalfi coast. Everything was great, the photos don’t even do justice. The place is nicely renovated, but an old building, so it has a rather steep stairs. It’s something to consider if you have mobility issues.

Bellissimo b&b situato nel centro storico di Putignano accoglienza eccellente, colazione super abbondante e con prodotti genuini e freschi. Camera spaziosa con comodo bagno. Pulizia impeccabile. ringrazio i titolari per la disponibilità e la gentilezza riservateci nei giorni del nostro soggiorno. Lo consiglio sicuramente.

Very friendly owners, nice interrior and very tasty home-made breakfast - everything was excellent, we felt like home!

Chambre d'hôte très bien située dans le centre historique de putignano. Le propriétaire est très sympa et accueillant. Le petit déjeuner inclus dans le prix de la chambre était parfait et bien copieux. Seul bémol, il faut trouver une place à l'extérieur du centre historique pour se garer (100 à 200 m de l'établissement) mais cela vaux le coup (rapport qualité prix excellent)

Our stay at Santo Stefano was amazing with a lovely couple housing us. They were really hospitable and helpful in every way. They helped out with transport in the city, recommendations and made us breakfast to meet our wishes. I fully recommend this for people visiting Putignano.
