The room is small, but big enough for two people and the position is in the middle of the historical center, which is great. The bathroom is external but it's private and very clean. Our host was nice and she gave us many useful information.

It was hot, hot, hot! Not really the fault of the pension.

Great.location in the historic part of town, around the pintxos area. The small balcony had a view over the lane which was nice despite the building across having scaffolding on it. There was a kitchen with fridge, and basics, and with a dining table. The external bathroom was good.and suoer clean.

The initial check in person was perfunctory, followed by another staff member who was brief but friendly and showed us our room. The room was tiny with a double bed, though the external sole use bayhroom was more spacious. The biggest disappointment was having the kitchen area locked at night (notice says kitchen hours are 9 to 9 and for guests to be quiet after these hours). The notice did not say it would be locked so if you had stored any foosninntbe fridge and you went out for dinner etc, you could not access it. Or make a cup of tea. It felt very infantile and have not encountered this before in any place in Spain over about 30 accommodation spots. Despite feedback tonyhe hosts, the same practice continued. There are notices all over the place, assertively laying out the various rules (7 in the kitchen area).at 165 euros per night, it did night attract the type of guest that needs the basics spelt out in this manner. Another big annoyance was yhe key system. We were given 4 keys. One to access the front door, one the internal door, another for the bathroom and then bedroom. So to use the bathroom.at night, uoubhave to unlock your room, find the correct key for the bathroom and unlock it. Then move it again to the inside as there wan jo internal lock. Then lock again from the outside...etc etc. Painful! As was the janglingnof keys in the corridor from other guests. This felt a bit rich given not being allowed to quietly access the fridge! The internal stairs had a funky smell and the bedroom fan was noisy
