Villa Bergmann Suites Meran

The location, central but at the same time quiet. It's very close to the river, two minutes away from some wonderful walks. The furniture and decoration, which give the place a lovely vintage touch. The spacious bedroom and bathroom. The terrace, surrounded by plants and facing a quiet backyard. The kitchen, with the possibility to use the fridge and stove. It allowed us to have some nice breakfasts and one dinner on the terrace.

The apartment is in the middle of the city. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was hot, but the staff kindly provided an extra fan.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the Wi-Fi because the internet router was broken. We stayed in the suite directly below the rooftop, which was quite hot in June.

Wonderful views from balcony, very close to Meran centre, nevertheless quiet and relaxing.

No elevator, long staircase to upper rooms.

Location very good. Centre of town. Apartment was a little small, and had no lift for suitcases. Staff helpful. Did have a washing which we used. There was no Sun on the building so the rooms were damp. They said something about having to turn heating off mid April or whenever, so rooms were cold but also damp, so our towels and clothes were damp. Had any Sun been shining in, that would have helped but it was not the case. I notice the Management work on the ground floor and leave the front door open every morning probably to let out the dampness. To be fair they did turn the heating on a little when we asked. e

No dishwasher, no washing machine, no ironing No kettle, no oven Chairs in dining room were very wobbly and a bit flimsy that you couldn’t sit on them Hair dryer was also very poor compared to the high rent Owner wasn’t really friendly 3rd floor and no lift ( this is wasn’t a problem, just be prepared when you have lots of luggage as no one will assist you) Extra cleaning fee (!) not included in booking price and they expect you to wash dishes before you leave (no dish washer available)

Awkward with a car but that is partly the location of the town. One of our chairs on the balcony was broken.

It was perfect

The location was superb with the fantastic mountain views from the balcony. Easy walking distance to Meran city and easy access to public transport which was included in the card offered by the apartment.
