Villa Marvela - Family 4 Bedroom

Location, incredible outlook/view, great pool, spa tub on upper deck, all very special. Great outdoor furniture. Having easy accessibility to offerings in the general locality, such as easy walking distance to beach etc was very convenient. Maslinica is clearly the best spot to be on Solta and with the widest offerings available such as the harbour, harbour side eateries shops etc. There was also a very good restaurant just a few doors up from the villa with other good restaurants not that far away although best accessed by car. Generous size and spacious feeling of the villa - ensuite bathrooms in every bedroom etc. The villa enjoys unmatched privacy overall and a great feeling of solitude. There wasnt anything not to like other than the lack of insect screens given the bugs around the property.

No insect screens. Minimal kitchen bench space and general kitchen functionality lacking.

Brilliant location, fabulous views and excellent rooms and facilities (amenities, pool, gym, etc). Great to have Matilda & Goran on hand to help with anything and to provide advice.

Not much but if I’m being picky could have done with a few more kitchen utensils, eg spatula for frying eggs :) Also freezer and hob were temperamental

Stunning views, clean, it was perfect!

We were met by the hosts on arrival. They had co-ordinated all aspects of our transfer to the island - van, speedboat, taxi and were there when we arrived. We were shown around and aspects explained then left to enjoy the location and property (and pool!) with offer of any help if needed via text/Whatsapp. - took the ferry back to Split to get home which was an easy taxi ride / bus trip again all great. All the rooms had ensuite walk in showers including the downstairs bedroom, the gym/sauna/ping pong room was a hit with the adult children, worth noting is the pool is open and the downstairs is all sliding glass doors to the outside as are all bedrooms. Our youngest was 8 and managed to run into the glass doors on the first day :) The property was stunning and it would be very easy not to leave it during your stay. We walked into the village each day (approx 10-15 mins) as well as spending time at the beach (approx 5 mins) - the beaches are stone but the sea is crystal clear, Paddleboards, kayaks and other bits can be hired from the bar at the end of the beach. Any shopping needed to be done in the morning or stock was limited in the village shop, but there are several restaurants and places to get a takeaway pizza. It is a truly idyllic switch off from everything. That said wifi at the property was great if you felt inclined to do any work but with the views and waters off the island - why would you want to? Amazing stay, beautiful property and location, great hosts. We will definitely look to return - maybe in spring or autumn to make the most of the hot tub!

Nothing it was all amazing! - the heat and walk up the hill from the beach is heavy going if you wanted to be out all day in the height of summer but the pool and aircon at the property made it manageable for all the family

Staying at Villa Marvele was brilliant. The Villa is very beautiful, modern and spacious. Weenjoyed the beatiful views, clean and uiet area, we were at the beach in a few minutes. We prepared our meals daily in the villa, where luckily hthere are plenty of clean dishes. Matylda takes care of the regular change of towels, we would like to appreciate that. We recommend a stay in the villa to everyone.

The location was outstanding, the staff were amazing and the villa had everything we needed and more!
