Rijeka Apartments TERRA I & II in the Old Town

Very comfortable

A cozy little room right downtown Rijeka. Everything was as should be: comfortable, clean, good service, and very much attention to details. The owner even called us to see if everything is ok and to give us some indications about what we can visit around.

Excellent apartment in the dead middle the Rijeka city center. Mikel is an excellent host/manager and replies immediately whenever anything is needed. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and very useful for longer stays (small kitchenette, desk, couch, great shower, very comfortable bed – the list goes on). Other reviews have mentioned the noise from the bar/club downstairs, which I can also confirm, but earplugs always help :) Getting to and from the bus and train stations is very easy, and there are many great restaurants in the immediate area. Highly, highly recommend!

With self check in system and excellent direction and recommendations from the owner, it was really easy to find the parking and check in the apartment. Location is one of the best in the city and the and the apartment is very well equipped.

Stairs leading to the apartment might be challenging for someone who is elderly, as there is no elevator. As it is only the second floor, we really did not mind it at all.

The communication with Mikel was great all along the way, even if we didn't physically meet. The entrance was code-based, so super easy and modern, no need to worry about not losing or misplacing the keys and all that. The location is very good - just in the center of Rijeka and close to everything you might want to experience there. The apartment size was just perfect for us, and it was arranged with so much good taste and practicality at the same time. And of course, we especially enjoyed interacting with the Google assistant to play music for us and summarize the news. It was a really nice technology touch :)

Unfortunately we checked in on a Friday evening, so the party at the club the next door started at about 10pm and lasted till at least 3am and then some "happy" people started shouting very loud at about 5am... Luckily we were tired enough so we were able to sleep pretty much all night despite the loud noise that was already pretty much attenuated by the closed windows. Also, some people may find it difficult to climb two pretty high floors up till the apartment.

Clean, well-located, and an extremely organized host. The check-in process was very smooth. I highly recommend staying here!

As it's in the middle of the Old Town could be a little bit loudy in the night because of weekend parties.
