Tulsa Club Hotel Curio Collection By Hilton

A friend and I spent a great couple of nights at the Tulsa Club while we were enjoying some great food and touring the Dylan and Guthrie Centers. The Tulsa Club is a perfect location for all there is to do in downtown Tulsa. The entire staff was wonderful. Special kudos to our main man Kevin Klein (yes, he is as handsome as the actor) who took care of our valet parking and provided us with great service and recommendations. Next time we are in Tulsa we will definitely be staying at the Tulsa Club. The rooms are well appointed, super clean, and the beds could not be more comfortable. We had lunch and drinks in the bar and at the Chamber restaurant and everyone there was great. If you go to Tulsa, you cannot do better than the Tulsa Club. Oh, it is in a beautiful Art deco restored building that they have done a wonderful job with.

I meant to write this the day we checked out and not let time lapse. But, because I didn't, I have completely forgotten the front desk clerk's name. But I will never forget her absolutely phenomenal work ethic and friendliness. Can't say enough good things about our stay. The bed was super plush. Best sleep we've gotten in a hotel for a while. We managed to be there when there was a wedding. I was a little worried about noise and commotion, but our room was virtually sound proof--despite comings and goings of the wedding party on our floor....and the dance floor a few stories up. Will definitely return next time we're in the Tulsa area. We felt safe and well looked after.

The hotel and staff were amazing - Room was a little "tight", but it had everything needed. Mt flight got cancelled the day I was supposed to check out, but they were able to extend my stay in the same room. So thankful! The hardest part of the stay was finding parking. It is free on the street after 4pm Mon-Friday and you can only pay for 2 hours at a time, starting at 8am. You need to make sure that you extend the parking on the app AFTER it expires. You cannot extend early.

Really like location of hotel and being Diamond member liked earning points. No more! Made a reservation- had someone call to confirm I was coming in late due to travel delays. Showed up at midnight and didn’t honor reservation- even after charging credit card to hold (just reversed charge and gave the room to someone else). I had to stay at a different hotel. I probably stayed at this hotel 25-35 nights per year, some years more. This was the 2nd time they messed up a reservation (another time checked me out after 2 days on a 5 day reservation even though it clearly was a 5 day reservation on the confirmation). There are other options in the area - so their loss of business- plus my company won’t be utilizing anymore either.

This was our second time staying at The Tulsa Club Hotel, and while it has a lot going for it, some frustrating details kept it from being a five-star experience. Pros: • Spacious, well-appointed rooms with nice mid- to higher-end touches. • Friendly and accommodating staff. • Fantastic downtown location. • The bar was excellent, and the food was very good. Cons: • Our suite had zero view—all windows opened to a cinder block wall. There was nothing in the booking about this, which was disappointing. • The restaurant was unbearably hot (85°F when we walked in) due to an HVAC issue. Staff explained that Hilton controls the system remotely, and they had to email corporate just to adjust the temperature. Instead of sweating through dinner, we took our drinks upstairs and ate at the bar in comfort. • The most ridiculous rule: I asked for two wine glasses and a corkscrew at check-in and was told, “We can’t allow guests to take a corkscrew to their rooms.” When I asked why, the response was, “It’s a potential weapon.” In Oklahoma, where guests can legally bring guns and knives into the hotel, a corkscrew is somehow too dangerous? Even the front desk admitted it was a dumb rule but said they had to follow it. Whoever came up with that policy should never work in customer service again. All in all, it was a nice stay, but the small details—ones that should be easy to get right—were mishandled. A little more attention to guest experience would go a long way.
