Nomads Hotel - Near San Clemente Pier

Rooms were nice and neat. Beds are comfortable. Decor is very nice. Location is right in downtown San Clemente. rooms are below a kitchen that is open between noon and 10 pm. room can be loud during this time.

The location was great. The rooms are really eclectic, individual and overall sophisticated looking. The fixtures are nice and the individuality of each room was super cool. Good vibes. Great for a young people.. surfers-party people-people who go to bed late. Walking distance to everything. Restaurants every 100 feet.

I have never experienced so much noise from with inside a hotel room in my entire life. There is a bar restaurant attached to this hotel. It is above it. We did not realize until around 8:30 at night when the restaurant/bar got hop in. It sounded like they were dragging furniture across the floor and banging things onto the floor. It was incredible! I literally could not believe what was happening. The music is also very loud. I do believe that the hotel should put this as a disclaimer letting people know that it is very loud until around 11 PM at night. The next morning upon investigation, I was told that there was nothing spectacular going on at the bar restaurant upstairs and that there weren’t even that many people which leads me to believe the noise is insane no matter what is going on up there. I was with my husband and young child and needless to say none of us were able to get any sleep until after 11 o’clock. We had a super long drive the night before so we were really bummed out. The place looks cool but if you plan on going to bed or having any sort of peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. At least not until the restaurant closes.

I loved how homey and convenient to the location we were in. All for an amazing price

The parking could have been better but even then it wasn’t a huge issue.

We thought this place was so cool! The only tough thing is the noise from the second floor on the bottom floors

I loved the decor and vibe of the Hotel/room. The location was also very central and the staff here was very friendly and helpful! The only concern I had was that our room, room 6 was directly beneath the bar of the upstairs restaurant and there was lots of chatter of the customers along with bar stools scraping across the floor. The noises stopped at around 10pm-ish when the restaurant/bar closed. If you are sensitive to noise and want a quiet place to hang, then I would take this into account. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay here at Hotel Nomad!
