Hotel Casa Madonna

Just arrived today 10/1/23 Casa Madonna booked by exodus travel company with 16 people. The hotel is disgusting the rooms are not to standard the sheets on the beds are ripped. Stained blood on one!!!!. And grey looking. Nothing ironed or any care been made to give good presentation to guests. No bed protectors. We shouldn’t be here we should have been in lodges at Fiscus hotel. And we are here instead. !!!!! Some of the rooms no windows. Some so high up you’d need a ladder. We are surprise that Exodus holidays lowered their standard so much. If I’d known that this sort of accommodation existed with them. We would not of booked. !!

Super hôtel avec un personnel présent. Chambre spacieuse et confortable, propre et avec une jolie vue sur les arbres. eau chaude et bonne connexion wifi. il n’y a pas de clim ou de ventilo, mais ça n’a pas été nécessaire pour nous puisque les températures à monteverde sont bien plus basses que dans le reste du pays. petit déjeuner décent, plusieurs places de parking. Endroit assez calme hormis les bruit de la route qui restent supportables. Seuls bémols: les rideaux transparents et le lit qui grince.

The hotel is close to the frog pond, mall and restaurants (walkable), but far enough away to not be in the hustle and bustle of it all. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfy. There are only about 10 rooms, so it is a nice small hotel. Breakfast is a traditional Costa Rican breakfast served with fruit.

The place is very clean and the staff really helpful, breakfast is awesome and very punctual, they help us to live on time… we will definitely go back there!

Place was family run. Free breakfast was decent, they ask you what time and have it ready (6-10am). Place seemed clean. Walkable to city center. Not high end, but good enough.

Casa Madonna offered a very comfortable room (comforable mattress, good size private room, good shower, clean room) in the middle of Santa Elena/Monteverde town close to all parks, activities and restaurants. A nice hot breakfast is included, which is offered starting at 6:30am- perfect for those who want to be the first in the parks. We also happily used the laundry service (drop off before noon and get clean laundry in the afternoon for a small fee),which was very helpful to us after our muddy hikes in the cloud forests. Very friendly staff are happy to offer activity tips and suggestions and are quick to help you with anything you need. Highly recommended for clean, comfortable, convenient and budget travel.

Affordable and nicely located on the town. The room was spacious, nice and highlight was the bed - super comfy 👍. Some storage racks could be added to the room while the shower system can definitely be improved. Front desk staff were super helpful and breakfast was decent.

clean and not far from center of town. staff is very friendly and eager to please. complained about no hot water and they showed a trick that was supposed to turn on the hot water, but at best it was barely lukewarm, even after a long time waiting. school group here was very loud and basement rooms echo at even a normal voice. breakfast was rice, beans, scrambled eggs, toast, fruit loops, pineapple/ watermelon. (not the greatest, ended up going out for breakfast.) no shampoo, lotion, or even a tv in room.
