Donchan Grand Hotel

The hotel itself is nice and clean. Beds are comfortable. However it’s not advisable to hose guests who don’t have a car like us. It’s far from main road. We arrived Chiang mai by train its early 4:30am we got Tuktuk for 150 baht to this hotel for 11 mins . for Tuktuk ( night market to our hotel 150 baht it took 9 mins.hotel to airport 15 mins we pay 200 baht. We still lucky cause we took same Tuktuk and I think it’s reasonable price. Morning guy receptionist was so nice and accommodating.he greeted us with a smile and find a way to find us room in cold morning.

Same recommendation for breakfast. Please add more variety. 4 days (Monday fried rice ,porridge , Tuesday-yellow noodles, spaghetti macaroni). Maybe bread,egg and fruits. And put one crew on the station to maintain the cleanliness for the next guest.

The location quiet far from city Bed quiet hard

This is new hotel, need to improve on bed, pillow and air conditioning. The bed is too hard, not very comfortable and pillows are too low. The air-conditioning is far too slow to get cold temperatures by the time the air conditioning get cold we have to leave the room. We got discount price so it's quite worth paying. But if we have to pay full price we Will think about it, the hotel management need to improve all the facilities that mentioned above, also need to improve breakfast.

Spacey-well lighted room and restroom , soap and shampoo provided with good quality and quantity compare to same level budget. Locate near big junction and highway easy access to many with lots of free parking. Surroundings is less crowded and hotel in central area.

I had a spacious and modern room with ditto bathroom. Well equipped. The surroundings of the hotel are quiet. One drawback of the hotel is that there are no eateries in the immediate surroundings. The restaurant of the hotel only serves a simple free breakfast. Wifi is fast.
