Hotel Faber

I stayed here for about 5 days on my first visit to Aarhus from the US. I was very happy with the experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and the hotel is in a safe location. I would simply note the hotel can be difficult to find. I would go to the ground floor of the Scandinavian Center Aarhus and then go through a side door. The hotel also has a washer and dryer available for guests that is helpful for people on longer trips, like me. I highly recommend a coffee/tea shop that is close called “ hos sofies forældre” - it is something out of Alice in Wonderland. I also recommend Den Gamle By, which is about a 15 min walk from the hotel.

Das Hotel teilte mir am Vortag mit,das die Reception am Wochenende geschlossen ist und wir am Anreisetag 2 Codes gesendet bekommen. Das ist nicht passiert und wir kamen gar nicht erst ins Hotel.Eine Notrufnummer bei Problemen beim Self Check Inn findet man erst im Zwischenraum. Dort kommt man aber nicht hin ohne Code.Nach langem warten kam endlich ein Gast heraus,so daß wir in den Zwischenraum kamen und die Notrufnummer finden konnten. Alexander schickte uns den Code per SMS. Danke an diesen Mitarbeiter. Sonst hat das Hotel hier leider versagt.

Behageligt personale, rene værelser og centralt beliggende. God digital opfølgning med ankomst-og afgangsinformation.

Quiet but central location, very helpful and friendly staff who went above and beyond to help us out. Rooms are well equipped and clean. Reception isn’t 24 hours but automated check-in is very easy and staff called before the trip to talk us through it. Very thoughtful.
