Manora Garden

Great hidden resort in a very natural setting, very peaceful aswell. The owners Nui and Gerard give you a 'home' feeling. They cooked breakfast and dinner, gor me my Singha beer. It was my 3rd stay here and will be back when ai visit the area again.

Nui cooked dinner most nights and it was brilliant, particularly for a vegetarian who has struggled with food in Thailand. Her sauces and attention to detail made the meals exceptional.

Maybe some freshly ground coffee could be sourced from somewhere, but the experience was so good overall I don't want to look for points to criticise.

Manora Garden is peaceful and beautiful surrounded by the jungle. You can ear all kinds of birds. Gérard the owner was very kind and helpful. The dinner was absolutely amazing one of the best we had so far. We loved our stay and if we are in the area we will definitely come here again.

We had a one-night stay at Manora garden, and enjoyed a wonderful time with Gerard and Nui. We had flown from Bangkok to Phuket and we did not want to stay in Phuket, so Gerard arranged a taxi pick-up from the airport straight to Manora garden.  From there we had lunch, and we had arranged (again through Gerard) a tour to Phang nga bay, pick-up from Manora, turn-key package. We had an amazing time during that tour, in particular as it occurred in the afternoon (way fewer tourists). Gerard and Nui prepared us a delicious dinner, and really made us feel at home. They are nice, caring and gracious hosts, taking time with their guests, sharing many valuable tips and advice for our trip. Finally, there is a beautiful cascade at a 1-hour walk from the resort, through magnificent woods of palm trees, rubber trees, coconut and banana trees. With the kind support of Gerard who gave us explanations about the trees. To finish, Gerard arranged a taxi to Krabi for us, and suggested that we'd stop on our way to the highest temple of South Thailand, which we did. Big thanks to Gerard and Nui,  adorable people worth meeting.

Equipment is basic but good enough and functional Location is not central, but very worth it (great hosts, cascade, very nice and quiet location)

It’s amazing experience! A great location among the rubber forest, very cozy house. You could enjoy nature and silence. We ask host to prepare us a dinner as we had long way here and had late check-in. And it was fantastic! Very tasty local food!Also hosts gave us a great recommendation about everything and we’re always in touch before our staying. We are in love with this place and highly recommend you to stay here. You definitely get much more than B&B. If you have time we advise you to stay longer as 1 night, because we regretted not staying longer. All made with love and you will feel it. Thanks to such people you love traveling and explore new places. Gerard and Nui we want thank you so much for everything you do! ❤️❤️❤️

Gerard and his wife went above and beyond. From when we arrived to inquire about available. We were ask to join them for dinner. We had already purchased are food. But the gesture was fantastic. Gerard was also helpful in directing us how to hike to the near by waterfall. I unfortunately didnt take any pictures of the property, but please take my word for it, it is well worth the stay.
