Alt Hotel Calgary East Village

The room, Restaurants and ease of access to the riverfront.

It's more like a City/area problem then the hotel problem. Just a block from the hotel is very infamous east village homeless community. I just didn't feel extremely safe while walking through the block but it can be easily avoided. Hotel didn't have any issues just the area in which hotel is located seemed a bit creepy to walk around.

Breakfast was really good. Food was fresh, well prepared and service was fast and friendly. On site underground parking was a bonus

The location is perfect offering beautiful views and walks along the river, however the amount of unhoused persons living in the area makes it difficult to enjoy. This is no reflection on what the Alt offers, as they have limited control over the situation, but it is an issue. I wouldn’t stay at this property with young children.

Really enjoyed my stay at Alt Hotel Calgary. The rooms were modern and comfortable, the location was great for getting around downtown, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Clean, convenient, and a nice atmosphere without feeling overly fancy.

Parking was a bit pricey, but that's to be expected in downtown Calgary. No other complaints.

Sehr schöne, moderne und saubere Zimmer mit zwei Betten. Auch alles sehr sauber. Zentrum fussläufig erreichbar. Toller öffentlicher Spielplatz gleich nebenan. Schöne Lobby. Freundliches Personal. Parkmöglichkeit vorhanden (öffentlich, nur gegen Bezahlung). Gutes Hotel als letzten Halt vor dem Rückflug um die Koffer etc. zu packen.

Man ist zwar in ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuss im Zentrum. Der Weg dorthin ist aber nicht der schönste, insbesondere abends wird man mit der umliegenden Drogen- und Obdachlosenszene konfrontiert. Das Hotel kann natürlich nichts dafür, trotzdem ist das für uns ein Abzug bei der Lage.

Easy to get to, staff were friendly and helpful, clean and rooms were a good size.

The fridge was very small, bathroom and room could have used more shelf space to put your things. Close to the homeless shelter so lots of homeless in the area

Lovely hotel, rooms were comfortable, couple of nice restaurants nearby, nice place to stay.

No actual hotel parking, it's either find a space on the street (which is free 6 till 6 I think it was) or pay really expensive car park charges.

Very alternative and modern. Easy to use all the mod cons in the room. Breakfast was cheap and lots on offer . Bed was comfortable though. Shower was hot and had good pressure.

The large bowls at breakfast were a bit too alternative……I felt like Alice in wonderland!

Great location, comfy bed

Modern comfortable accommodation in the perfect location. Rain made us stay indoors but we played a game of cards and had a glass of our own wine on the mezzanine level. Great staff where nothing was a problem.

Can honestly say there was nothing we didn’t like.
