Alt Hotel Calgary East Village

Staff were exceptional and went out of their way to ensure we were checked in quickly (and early thank you); they made sure we were oriented with the area and provided suggestions. The location on the river was excellent and we were fortunate to have a river front room. The hotel was modern and exceptionally clean. We would stay here again in a heatbeat!!

Loved the ambiance of the hotel, friendly staff, comfy beds and modern room! Nice spot right on the river.

Area aims hotel is a little sketchy , lots of places to walk, but lots of homeless and didn't feel safe walking around with 3 women on a sunny showing evening.

Very modern. Loved the room controls and access to the parking in the basement.

Very minor issue which I did feed back on - there is a glass panel between the back wall of the shower and the bedroom, so when someone uses the bathroom in the night, the light floods in to the bathroom, potentially disturbing the other person.

Loved the hotel itself. The room was very spacious, modern and clean. Lovely comfortable bed, good lighting and mirrors in the right place. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The parking was a problem as we couldn't get any of the meters to accept the zone information we were given, or the correct amount of hours. The general area around the hotel had lots of rough sleepers.

Room was small, and bathroom a bit too compact

Considering the amount we pay per day, the hotel could at least provide a buffet breakfast or include more complimentary water bottles in the room. The hotel is quite expensive, yet the amenities provided are very limited.
